Recently, a number of our students participated in a national survey that asked them about their college experience, how much time they spend studying, and the types of interactions they have with faculty. The results from the study are used in a variety of ways, including assessment, institutional improvement, and prompting discussion on teaching and learning initiatives.

Medaille would like to invite UG Buffalo campus faculty to complete a faculty version of the survey.  Survey invitations will be sent:

Invitation:  Wednesday, April 2
Reminder 1:  Tuesday, April 8
Reminder 2:  Monday, April 14
Final Reminder:  Thursday, April 17

Your participation is voluntary, though I hope you will respond. Please be assured that your responses will be confidential and kept anonymous to anyone at Medaille College. All faculty responses will be summarized by the Center for Postsecondary Research at Indiana University.

If you have any questions about this project at Medaille College or how we plan to use the results, please contact Patrick McDonald at or 716-880-2345.

Thank you very much for considering this important request. I expect that the information you and other faculty members provide will help identify areas of strength and improvement, as well as lead to constructive discussions related to teaching, learning, and the quality of our students’ educational experience. Best wishes.
