Students in Dr. Villaseñor’s “Children’s Literature” course (ENG 375) recently visited the Buffalo City Mission to donate new reading materials to the after-school program and read to the children.  As part of a semester-long Community-Based Learning Project, the students worked with Assistant Humanities Professor Alice Villaseñor and Library Director Andy Yeager to research age-appropriate books to add to the materials used by LEAP (Literacy Enrichment Afterschool Program).  The Me@Medaille story photo is courtesy of Associate Professor Courtney Grim, who joined in on the fun to document the recent visit for Project EQUIP.
