Department of Interdisciplinary Studies professors Lucy Czesak and Kyle Shrader, who teach Developmental Reading and Writing in the English program, have recently been accepted to present a full session in Nashville, TN at the 44th annual NOSS (National Organization for Student Success) conference in March 2020. Using the integrated reading and writing exams they have created for English 105 students as a platform to share active and critical reading strategies, they will offer a presentation titled: “What reading success sounds like, and how to facilitate it in the developmental IRW classroom.”

Be on the lookout for a preview of this presentation offered to Medaille faculty and staff as a professional development/training opportunity later this year!
