“How To Rob A Bank,” a digital story by Dr. Alan Bigelow, a professor in Medaille’s Department of Interdisciplinary Studies, recently won the 2017 Robert Coover Award for a Work of Electronic Literature. This yearly honor is the highest award in the field, and it is awarded by the Electronic Literature Organization.

In recent months, “How To Rob A Bank” made the shortlist for the prestigious Turn on Literature Prize and won the Opening Up Digital Fiction Writing Competition 2017 Judge’s Prize. In addition, the digital story was shortlisted for the 2016 London International Creative Competition, and was First Runner-Up in the Digital Humanities Awards 2016.
