Jack Anchin, Ph.D., a clinical associate professor in Medaille’s Department of Counseling & Clinical Psychology, recently chaired a symposium titled “Unification: The Fifth Pathway to Psychotherapy Integration” at the 34th annual Conference of the Society for the Exploration of Psychotherapy Integration in New York City. In addition, Dr. Anchin presented the symposium’s opening paper, “Essential Features and Functions of Metatheory in Unified Approaches to Psychotherapy Integration.”  He also served as moderator and discussant for a panel discussion, “Training in the Integration of Psychotherapy Practice and Research: Trainer and Trainee Perspectives,” and he was a member of a group of psychotherapists invited to provide practice consultations to other clinicians. Dr. Anchin also served as the Conference’s Continuing Education Chair.
