Dr. Susan Dunkle is honored to accept an appointment on the World Fellowship Committee for Delta Kappa Gamma Society International
Susan Dunkle, EdD, an Assistant Professor in the Division of Education, has been appointed by the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, Pi State, to serve on the World Fellowship Committee. Delta Kappa Gamma Society International promotes professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education.
”The World Fellowship Committee grants World Fellowships in accordance with the Constitution and International Standing Rules when sufficient funds are available. They maintain contact with the World Fellowship recipients for the duration of their studies when possible and encourage members to maintain contact with recipients studying in their states. The committee may also grant requests for fellowship extensions.
The World Fellowship Program began in 1946 as a project to aid women in war-torn countries. To date more than 858 women from over 117 countries have received fellowships to enable them to pursue advanced study in the United States and Canada.” (dkg.org)
