On April 2, the Division of Veterinary and Natural Sciences welcomed 25 students and their families to our Second Annual DVNS Accepted Student Picnic and Open House.

This picnic and open house is designed to increase the conversion of accepted students into committed students through one-on-one interactions between faculty, staff and current students with potential students and their families.  Visits to the animal facilities, lab tours, and hands-on activities were the highlights of the open house.  In the labs, students participated in real classroom activities, such as taking blood from fake “arms”,  evaluating radiographs, making blood smear, and assembling a skeleton.

The word cloud is where these prospective students see themselves after Medaille.

Thanks to the Admissions team for their assistance with this event!!Hematology
