Dumbleton

Thursday, November 7 at 7 p.m. on the 4th floor of the Main Building, fiction writer Molly Dumbleton will be reading from her fiction and taking audience questions. This event is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be served!

Molia Dumbleton’s short fiction has appeared in the New England Review, Kenyon Review, Cincinnati Review, Witness, SmokeLong Quarterly Award Issue, Bath Flash Fiction Award Anthology, Bridport Prize Anthology, and others, and been awarded, among other things, the Seán Ó Faoláin International Short Story Prize and Columbia Journal Winter Fiction Contest Prize (selected by Roxane Gay). Her debut collection of short stories was a finalist for the 2018 Iowa Short Fiction Award. She has been the recipient of a Peter Taylor Fellowship to the Kenyon Review Writers’ Workshop, a Susannah McCorkle Scholarship to Sewanee Writers’ Conference, and an AWP Writer-to-Writer Mentorship. She holds an MA in Creative Writing from Northwestern University and teaches courses at DePaul University, National Louis University, The Newberry Library, and The Loft Literary Center. She is a freelance writer and editor; a reader for The Masters Review; and a member of the Curatorial Board for the Ragdale artists’ colony.
