Business administration alumna and former Mavericks basketball standout Dani Reinwald ’18 recently signed a professional basketball contract with the Whittlesea Pacers of the Big V professional basketball league in Victoria, Australia. The 2018 AMCC Women’s Basketball Player of the Year set many NCAA records during her time at Medaille, and she begins her career with the Pacers this February.

In her 71 career games as a Maverick, Reinwald scored 1079 points and 1025 rebounds, while blocking 151 shots and earning 190 steals. As a senior, she averaged 19 points, 16.1 rebounds, 3.9 steals, and two assists per game, and ranked second in the nation in offensive rebounds and third in double-doubles.
