Medaille clinical assistant professor Susan Steffan, chair of the College’s Department of Business, Management & Leadership, is presenting to several local professional groups this fall. She is providing a training session titled “Financial Literacy for Small Business Owners” to the Kenmore-Tonawanda Chamber of Commerce on September 20.  On September 26, Steffan is leading two breakout sessions for the Project Management Institute’s Fall Professional Development Day. Project management professionals from across the area will receive continuing education credit for attending her workshops, titled “Negotiating for Business and Personal Success” and “Finance for the Non-Financial Manager.” On October 19, she will present “Financial Statement Basics” to the Entrepreneurial Assistance Program, which helps budding entrepreneurs start their own business. Later in the fall, Steffan will be presenting “Finance for Leaders” to the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership’s Key Persons Leadership Development Class.
