Medaille College has received approval from both the New York State Education Department, as well as the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, to offer an Advanced Certificate in Integrated Healthcare Delivery. This six course, twenty-four credit certificate is designed to be completed in less than one year and builds upon successful core course in our M.A. in Organizational Leadership program.

The Advanced Certificate in Integrated Healthcare Delivery (IHD) provides specialized curriculum and instruction for students who wish to enter, or advance, in the field of healthcare management.  Graduates of the certificate develop the competencies relevant for management roles in sites such as: hospitals, nursing homes, respite facilities, physicians’ offices, pharmaceutical and device manufacturers, and/or government and public policy organizations.

The certificate prepares students to implement integrated solutions for healthcare management.  Based on the concepts of systems thinking and the learning organization, it emphasizes that healthcare delivery is an integrated system and provides students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies to apply management and leadership concepts to the healthcare industry.
