The Medaille community is invited to attend an opioid presentation and film screening at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 19, at the Medaille College Main Building lecture hall. Reversing the Stigma is a documentary addressing the stigma of addiction and its effect on society. It features people from throughout New York State sharing their stories of recovery.

The evening will include an introduction from NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) Commissioner Arlene Gonzales-Sanchez, followed by a 30-minute panel discussion featuring NYS Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul, Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown, the Hon. Judge Craig Hannah and the Hon. Judge Robert Russell. This special film premiere and presentation is hosted by Save the Michaels of the World, Inc.
