Lynn Horne-Moyer, PhD, Director of the Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology received the Distinguished  Service Award from the Psychological Association of Western New York at their annual meeting in June.  Dr. Horne-Moyer was honored for her contributions to psychology training and professional practice, most notably through founding a PsyD program here at Medaille. Past President, Alvira Aletta, PhD, remarked on her work to provide momentum to transform the professional community in Buffalo.  In her acceptance, Dr. Horne-Moyer stated “my goal has been to provide outstanding mental health providers to meet the needs of our community.”
