CEPA Gallery has announced that a new exhibition will feature the works of Mark Lavatelli, M.A., M.F.A., professor in the division of liberal arts and communication.

TreeHistoric will run through Sunday, October 26, with an opening reception to take place on Saturday, September 13. The exhibition is free and open to the public, and will take place at Big Orbit Project Space. Click here for more details.

According to CEPA, Lavatelli’s paintings are extremely unique due to the antiquated beeswax technique he uses, called encaustic. His work has been featured all over the United States.

Lavatelli has taught at Medaille since 1988. For more information on Lavatelli, you can visit his personal website.
