A Note of Thanks to Marge Kafka and Merchants Insurance Group
Marge Kafka has been a member of Medaille’s Board of Trustees since 2004, and is one of the College’s most dedicated champions. Today, we have even more reason to be thankful to our longtime friend, as Merchants Insurance Group has established an endowed scholarship in Marge’s name in the amount of $25,000.
The scholarship honors Marge as she retires from Merchants, the company for which she has worked for the last five decades. The Marge Kafka/Merchants Insurance Scholarship will be given to an undergraduate psychology student pursuing mental health counseling at Medaille.
Marge is a proud Medaille alum, and a tireless advocate for “Buffalo’s College.” Please join us in saying thank you to Marge for her service to Medaille, and to Merchants Insurance President Bob Zak and everyone at the company for their generosity.
