Article Written by Medaille Professors and Grad Students Accepted for Publication
An article written by two Medaille College professors, two Medaille graduate students and a local psychologist has been accepted for publication in the ARC Journal of Psychiatry. The article, titled “Substance Use and Intimate Partner Violence: Neurocognitive Considerations,” was coauthored by Medaille assistant professors Dr. Keith Klostermann and René A. Jones; clinical mental health counseling student Emma Papagni; doctor of clinical psychology student Melissa Mahadeo; and Theresa Mignone-Klostermann, a psychologist at the Buffalo VA Medical Center.
Klostermann, Ph.D., LMFT, LMHC, is an internationally recognized behavioral couples therapy (BCT) expert, while Jones is director of Medaille’s marriage and family therapy program. Papagni and Mahadeo are part of Dr. Klostermann’s research team. During her time at Medaille, Papagni has co-authored several manuscripts for publication.
