On April 7, First-Year Experience Director and Clinical Assistant Professor James Louis Ramsey, Ph.D., led a workshop on “Critical Thinking in the College Classroom.” Hosted by the SUNY at Buffalo Arthur O. Eve Educational Opportunity Center, this free event was designed to break down the barriers to college and provide tips and support to aid students in their educational pursuits. Other workshops and presentations included: College Success Strategies, Immigrants Attending College: Help is Available, Online Learning: Earn Your College Degree on YOUR Schedule, and Vocational & Technical Training-Employers Are Looking For You.
