We are pleased to announce that Medaille College has recently received a $250,000 challenge grant pledge from M&T Bank as part of Medaille’s Capital Campaign. This gift will be used toward the College’s science laboratory renovation project. This gift is in recognition of the College’s role in supporting not only our own students, but those from the Buffalo Public Schools as well as those who use our laboratories through programs like Science in Bloom.

The College, in partnership with the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo, has also received a $200,000 grant from the Lumina Foundation to enhance our student support services. The Lumina Foundation chose Buffalo as one of its 20 pilot cities in an effort to increase the number of local residents with high-quality associate’s and bachelor’s degrees.

These gifts, combined with an additional $50,000 in funded scholarships from various donors and a $500,000 gift from an anonymous donor, which was shared with the Medaille Community at the summer colloquium, brings a total of $1 million into the College!

All of these generous donors chose to support Medaille, because they believe in the College’s mission and purpose – which is ever-present in the work of our faculty and staff. Thank you for all that you do to contribute to the realization of Medaille’s mission and to ensure the success of our students!
