The Communication program sponsored a writing workshop for it’s Freshmen and Sophomore students, which was led by Writing Specialist, Emily Radder-Ryan.  The workshop was held on Monday February 10th and had 44 students in attendance.  Students were presented with some very useful tips on grammar and organization necessary for writing a successful paper.  Students worked in groups in specific areas including comma use, captitalization, verb tenses and sentence structure.  Emily Radder-Ryan was awesome in presenting a fairly dry topic in an engaging way.
