On Tuesday, October 6, Dr. Elaine Correa’s GEN 220 students traveled to the West Side Bazaar to explore, in person, the concepts of multiculturalism and diversity in our local community. This semester, Dr. Correa’s students will work to learn about cultures that are different from their own, and provide reflective feedback on the relationship between multiculturalism and Justice & Democracy in the U.S. The CCBL transported the students and arranged for a tour of the Bazaar, where the students enjoyed trying (or thinking about trying) a variety of foods from around the world.
