Medaille professor Richard L. Jacob, Ph.D., has been selected to serve on the American Cancer Society (ACS) National Sports Alliance Volunteer Workgroup. The team’s mission is to continue to establish ACS as a powerful and connected sports philanthropic organization by expanding its initiatives and partnerships.

Dr. Jacob is a professor in Medaille’s Department of Communication & Sport Studies and also serves as the director of the College’s sport management program. In addition to his role on the ACS National Sports Alliance Volunteer Workgroup, he serves as chairman of WNY Coaches vs. Cancer.
