Keith Klostermann, Ph.D., LMHC, an assistant professor in Medaille’s master’s in clinical mental health counseling program, has been selected to serve on the review team for the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) Foundation’s Scholarship/Fellowship Review. The review teams work closely with the NBCC Foundation staff to rate eligible applicants for Foundation scholarships and fellowships.

Dr. Klostermann was also recently selected to serve on the editorial board of the Journal of Counselor Leadership & Advocacy. His area of research involves investigating intimate partner-on-partner violence among substance-abusing individuals who are married or otherwise living together. He serves as a clinical and research consultant for several counseling programs in New York and Canada and he maintains an active private practice that specializes in work with couples and families.

Dr. Klostermann’s latest publication, titled “Re-Evaluation Counseling,” is included in the recently published book The SAGE Encyclopedia of Theory in Counseling and Psychotherapy.
