Dr. Caitlin Riegel, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Education, has been selected as the recipient of the 2020 Glen Earthman Outstanding Dissertation Award. This honor is given out by the International Society for Educational Planning (ISEP) in recognition of outstanding dissertations related to all aspects of educational planning and program implementation on the international, state/provincial, regional, local and individual school or building levels. Dr. Riegel earned her doctorate in Leadership and Policy from Niagara University in 2018, where she focused on developing an instrument to measure how often teacher candidates model and apply the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards in teacher preparation programs. Dr. Riegel will formally receive the award during ISEP’s Annual Conference in October 2020.
