Esports Club Raises $1,000 for Buffalo Resilience
The Medaille College Esports Club organized and held 24 hours of livestream fundraising for COVID-19 relief this past weekend. The club reached its goal of raising $1,000 to donate to Buffalo Resilience, a local company that produces and coordinates the donation of masks and other personal protective equipment to medical professionals. Students Jacob LaPort, Katie Caito, Harry He and Brandon Phillips led the efforts and played several games with club and local community members throughout the night Saturday and Sunday.
