Students in Professor Kyle Shrader’s GEN 110 class visit the Salvation Army Golden Age (SAGA) Center to have some good conversations and interactions with the seniors. Founded 1951, the goal of SAGA is to improve the overall health and well-being of seniors in Buffalo and Erie County by offering programs and services to address their physical, spiritual, and emotional needs. As part of their class assignment, they prepared common question sets to facilitate those conversations and learn more about the senior citizen population in our surrounding community. They are working on their reflections of this experience.
