On Saturday, March 25, Division of Education graduate students participated in a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, & Math) paint party. Artist and MSED Elementary Education student, Chantelle Culver along with education student, Viviana Montalban-Jones, facilitated the event. They highlighted the importance of teaching art in education to develop individual creativity, interest and engagement in the curriculum as well as for art therapy. Pictured are Chantelle and Viviana with a few masterpieces. The event was sponsored by the Education Graduate Student Society (EGSS) under the leadership of Mary Beth Scumaci and Kelly Ahuna.
