A capstone research paper by graduating Medaille senior Jenna Cleversley was recently cited in an article in the international journal The Explorer Islamabad: Journal of Social Sciences. The paper by Cleversley, a psychology major at Medaille, was titled “Exploring the Concept of the Human Soul from a Religious, Psychological and Neuro-Scientific Perspective.” It was cited in a February 2016 article by Farzana Khan titled “Purification of Soul in Kalash Community Before and After Death.”

Cleversley’s capstone paper focused “on one of the dissimilarities between science and religion” and explored “the different perspectives on the human soul from Christian, Buddhist, psychological and neuro-scientific perspectives.”
