A GoFundMe page has been set up to support two beloved members of our Medaille College community, Elio and Judy Acosta. A fire at the couple’s home occurred on February 8, and after damage was assessed their home was considered a total loss. While Elio and Judy made it out safely, the couple’s son-in-law was burned and one of their dogs perished. In addition, the home was robbed and vandalized during the initial repair period.

The couple’s friends and colleagues at Medaille started a GoFundMe page on their behalf to contribute to the costly repairs needed to restore the home to a livable condition. Any financial help — even the smallest amount — will make a difference.
