Medaille’s Information Systems Program Students Participate in a
Western New York Learning Partnership
Students enrolled in a Spring 2015-2016 semester MIS class, Management Information Systems, are collaborating with members of a local law enforcement agency to help develop a centralized database to improve management of data, statistics, and other pertinent information related for law enforcement needs. A centralized location database designated for this purpose is intended to enhance the investigative capabilities and collaborative efforts of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies.
This initiative is coordinated in conjunction with a local law enforcement agency and Medaille College’s Information System program and Community Based Learning.
With the help of the Medaille College’s Information System Advisory Committee, additional community-based learning initiative partnership projects are in the process of being scheduled.
