Interdisciplinary Collaboration Featuring Professors Steffan, Weeks and Klostermann to be Published in Psychology Journal
An article written by three Medaille College professors, a Medaille graduate student and a local psychologist has been accepted for publication in the Psychology & Psychological Research International Journal (PPRIJ). The article, titled “Psychology and Mental Health Practice: A Crisis of Leadership,” was coauthored by:
- Medaille clinical associate professor Susan C. Steffan, chair of the College’s Department of Business, Management & Leadership
- Medaille clinical associate professor William G. Weeks, director of the College’s MBA and MAOL programs
- Medaille assistant professor Keith Klostermann, Ph.D., LMFT, LMHC, an internationally recognized behavioral couples therapy (BCT) expert
- Doctor of clinical psychology student Marissa Peressotti, a member of Dr. Klostermann’s research team
- Theresa Mignone, a psychologist at the Buffalo VA Medical Center
This interdisciplinary collaboration looks at the role of mental health and psychology in leadership training. PPRIJ is a peer-reviewed source for the latest findings in cognitive, behavioral, developmental, health and educational psychology.
