January Blackboard Training
During the week of January 8, 2018 there will be daily Blackboard training sessions available.
Buffalo Campus Day Times: Monday, 1/8, Thursday, 1/11, or Friday, 1/12 from 12:30 to 3 p.m. in Huber 203.
Evenings: Tuesday 1/9 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. or Thursday 1/11 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in H203.
Rochester Campus Evening: Wednesday January 10 from 4 to 6 p.m.

Blackboard Saas – 45 ≈30 Minutes Changes made in the December ‘17 Migration.
- Improvements to Grade Center.
- Student experience.
Blackboard Basics – 60 Minutes ≈ for those new to Blackboard..
- System navigation.
- Set your course to open and close when you are ready.
- Post content: Syllabus, Assessments/Worksheets, Create a Discussion Forum.
o Bring material you want to post.
Blackboard Refresher – 45 ≈ 30 Minutes overview of how to copy your course for your Fall Class.
- Overview course open and close process.
- Post content: Syllabus, Assessments/Worksheets, Create a Discussion Forum.
o Bring material you want to post.
Blackboard Advanced – 60 ≈ Minutes – 30 Minutes of Advanced Features / 30 Minutes Q&A.
- Advanced options in Assessments, Test & Quizzes, Discussion Forum.
o Bring material to use.
Gradebook Training – 60 ≈ Minutes on how to use the Gradebook/Assignments/Assessments.
- Grade Center Navigation.
- How Assessments, Test & Quiz tie into Grad Center.
Not all content can be covered in one session.
Content covered will depend on participant requests.
