Join Us on April 19 at Buffalo’s Future: Leading Your Company to Sustainability
Faculty and staff are invited to register now for Buffalo’s Future: Leading Your Company to Sustainability. The event will be held in the President’s Dining Room on Thursday, April 19, with a 5:30 p.m. welcome reception and 6 p.m. presentation.
The presentation will include a discussion of what corporate sustainability is, why it is so important, and how companies can take the first steps to becoming sustainable. The evening’s speakers include:
- Aliesa Adelman, LEED AP BD+C, Director of Sustainability at Wendel
- Mark C. Poloncarz, Erie County Executive
The speakers will address the importance of creating a sustainable community, and the role of business within that community. A question and answer session will follow the presentations.
All Buffalo’s Future events are free and open to the public. Registration is required at www.buffalosfuture.org.
