The Department of Education is pleased to share that Medaille College now has a chapter of Kappa Delta Pi (KDP), an International Honor Society in Education! The KDP chapter counsellors, Dr. Caitlin Riegel and Dr. Christine Woodcock, together with the KDP officers completed the initial chapter membership requirements. The initial chapter chartering will be held at the virtual indication ceremony to be held this spring semester for qualifying Education students. In addition to providing scholarships, a career center, and service opportunities to current students who qualify and choose to join, KDP will be an ongoing professional membership teachers can maintain in the field for professional development opportunities, professional liability insurance, networking, and invaluable resources.
