Mark Lavatelli has been invited to be part of a group exhibition at Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center (341 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo) entitled Amid/In Part Five that opens this Friday, November 13th from 8 to 11 PM.  This is the latest installment of a project surveying contemporary art-making in Western New York by Hallwalls Visual Arts Curator John Massier together with two guest curators, Rebecca Wing and Kyle Butler. There are ten artists in the exhibit and Mark will be showing ten works on paper, mostly encaustic monotype prints.
