Eleven students from the Division of Education’s MSED Elementary Education program presented poster presentations at the Niagara Frontier Reading Council Spring Conference in Hamburg, NY on April 30th.  The graduate students researched apps that enhance teaching and learning in the elementary classroom  as part of a project for their Technology in the Elementary Classroom course under the guidance of Mary Beth Scumaci.  Teachers, librarians, principals, and community members from around WNY were in attendance at the conference and enjoyed learning about app technologies to integrate into their teaching.  Pictured left to right: Kristi Attwell, Laurie Santos, Michelle Whale, Oksana Byskosz, Robyn Black, Lisa Sheppard, Manjula Wickramaratne, Debbie Crisolago, Lexi Stevens, Richard Lyons, and Rachel Bigras.
