Medaille University was selected by Anthology for the exceptional work of the E-Learning Team and Medaille community with regard to the change management plan for transitioning from Blackboard Learn Original to Blackboard Learn Ultra. Medaille was an early adopter of Learn Ultra. The E-Learning Team, comprised of Director of Online Learning Mary Beth Scumaci, Instructional Technology Specialist Raymond Drechsel, and Digital Learning Technologists Julianna Woite and Marcia Bohn, played an important role providing feedback and prototype testing to Anthology about faculty and student use, as well as suggestions for continued development of the Learn Ultra learning management system used at Medaille.

On June 14, Medaille welcomed Sheryn Anthes, Senior Director, Community Marketing for Anthology and a video production team from Gema Productions. Several students, administrators, staff and faculty were interviewed, sharing their stories. Scumaci and Drechsel facilitated the project with the support of campus administration.

Clips of the interviews will be shared on stage, prior to the keynote speakers at the Anthology Together 2022 global conference in July. The full Medaille video story will be spotlighted this fall.

Pictured being interviewed by Sheryn Antes is current student and communication major Riley Fey. They are joined by two of the Gema Productions video crew, cinematographer Miranda Prise and audio engineer Matt Saeva.
