Dr. Bridgette Slavin’s HON 110 H2 students recently presented research on spirit festivals around the globe similar to our own Halloween. The students started by writing a compare and contrast essay between Halloween and another cultural celebration of the dead, followed by group projects. Medaille’s Center for Community-Based Learning (CCBL) and First-Year Experience provided support for this project by arranging for the students to have a tour at Forest Lawn Cemetery. #MavsLife
