Medaille Women’s Bowling Finished 3rd
The 2013-14 season was the first year in conference history that the AMCC (Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Championships) league sponsored women’s bowling as a championship sport. Medaille’s women’s bowling team placed third with 5691.
The week-end matches were in the best 4-of-7 baker format. The Lady Lions picked up two wins in three matches, defeating Mount Aloysius 610-441 and Medaille 950-854 and losing 762-653 to Pitt-Bradford.
The standings were determined by teams’ total pinfall after Saturday and Sunday. Host school Pitt-Bradford won the AMCC title with 6267 pins, while Penn State Altoona finished with 6167. Medaille College placed third with 5691, and Mount Aloysius College came in fourth with 4870.
