Medaille’s third annual Pathways to Service Event took place last Saturday, December 1. Pathways Program students and staff, along with Medaille College trustee Howard K. Hitzel, Ph.D., spent the day organizing donations, helping with holiday prep, cleaning and making lunch for residents at Compass House, an organization that provides safe shelter and services to homeless and runaway youth and teens in Buffalo.

The Medaille community thanks Sierra Johnston, the liaison and coordinator from Compass House, as well as Developmental Reading and Writing Specialist Jason Pratt and Assistant Director of Student Involvement Lisa Kragbé for coordinating this service opportunity.

The Pathways Program is an educational and supportive mentoring program for first-year students at the College.
