On March 4, 2022, the French/German TV channel Arte broadcast the segment À Delft, une fenêtre sur un autre monde (In Delft, a window on another world), an episode of the travel program Invitation au voyage, in which Professor Douglas Anderson spoke about the life and work of the Dutch naturalist Antony van Leeuwenhoek (1632-1723). Anderson is seen here in front of Delft’s city hall, where Leeuwenhoek worked for most of his life as an official of the magistrates court. The program is dubbed in French and German and is not accessible in the U.S. due to copyright restrictions. On request, Professor Anderson can make the segment available for downloading.
