Please join us on Tuesday, May 3, 2:30-4:30 for The Community Scholars Fair in the Event Center. This event will feature the work of all of the classes participating in the “Preparing Buffalo for Global Responsibilities” Learning Community.

More info about the Learning Community:

This semester, students taking classes with Dr. Elaine Correa, Dr. Jennifer Foster, Courtney Grim, Erika Hamann, Drew Marsherall, Samantha Purpora, and Dr. Bridgette Slavin are engaging in a cross-disciplinary, community-based learning project to explore global issues connected with the local refugee community in Buffalo, including multiculturalism, diversity, community building, human trafficking, current events, and related services and programs in WNY.  The events and activities associated with this project are supported by the Center for Community-Based Learning and the Honors Program. Search for #MedailleCBL2016 on Twitter to follow the project.

Questions about the project can be addressed to Haniyyah Bashir (Haniyyah.D.Bashir@medaille.edu), Alice Villaseñor (amv68@medaille.edu), or any of the faculty listed above.

We hope to see you May 3!
