Stephen Kozak, General Accounting

What is your education and background?

I am from East Aurora. I earned two different Bachelor degrees from University at Buffalo. I earned my first Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies in 1999 and my second Bachelor’s degree in Accounting in 2012.  I worked at Tele Atlas for eight years collecting digital road map data for GPS devices. I started working at Medaille this past March.

Tell us about your typical work day…

I work in the Accounting department for Medaille. Everyday is different and I have a variety of tasks each day. I work with different accounts for the college and manage fixed assets.

What is your favorite part about working at Medaille?

Everyone is welcoming and it is a positive environment.

 What are your interests and hobbies?

I enjoying volunteering at the SPCA. I also enjoy movies, music, gaming, reading and exercising.

What is your favorite restaurant?

There are so many! I will say Fresh Healthy Café, on Transit and French.

Never Stop Learning

If you could visit any place in the world, where would you choose to go and why?

Switzerland. There is a restaurant called Piz Gloria where they filmed my favorite James Bond movie “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” and the view is absolutely fantastic!
