Medaille graduate students from the Student CEC Chapter, undergraduate students from Future Teachers Club, and seniors from St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute joined forces to raise $3800 for Special Olympics. On December 3rd, our students plunged into the icy waters at Woodlawn Beach for the 10th annual Polar Plunge. This charity event raises money for Special Olympics. Over 67,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities are supported through the New York Special Olympics activities. This year’s event raised a total of $142,000! A big thank you to all our family, friends, and colleagues who supported our efforts this year!
