Wildlife Research Presentation by Dr. Clabeaux
Assistant Professor of Biology Dr. Bernadette Clabeaux ’05 presented her research on post-release success in rehabilitated hawks at the National Wildlife Rehabilitation Association Conference in Delaware in early March. Her highly attended talk highlighted the importance of post-release studies and preliminary data on two rehabilitated hawks released by Dr. Clabeaux and WNY Raptor and Wildlife Care, Inc.
In addition to her role at Medaille, Dr. Clabeaux serves as founder and director of WNY Raptor and Wildlife Care, Inc. (Facebook: @wnyraptor; Instagram: @wny_raptor), a nonprofit organization dedicated to wildlife rehabilitation and release, environmental education and research.
