Write Thing Reading Series, Fall 2013

The Write Thing Reading Series, now in its 13th year of bringing literary writers from around the country to read their poetry and fiction on our campus, visit, and answer questions, will feature these guests in our Fall 2013 series:

Oct. 10 – Ethan Paquin, a former Medaille faculty member, now living in New Hampshire, will read poems from his newest published work, Cloud vs. Cloud.

Oct. 24 – Alan Bigelow, Medaille Professor and world-celebrated electronic fiction author, will show and talk about his “Web Yarns.”

Nov. 14 – Sarah Gerkensmeyer, short story writer, SUNY-Fredonia, will read and discuss her debut collection, What You Are Now Enjoying.

Student participation at Write Thing events is encouraged, and the Humanities department thanks any faculty who give academic credit of any sort for students attending or asking questions.  All events are on Thursdays @7pm, and will be held in the Academic Commons, 4th floor, Main Hall of the Buffalo Campus.
